What Is Tatcha water cream
Though it’s one of their more expensive items, it’s definitely worth the price tag, in my opinion. The cream is ultra-hydrating and profoundly nourishing and keeps your skin looking healthy and radiant all day long. It also includes a unique blend of Okinawa red algae, Japanese botanicals, and hyaluronic acid to help draw moisture into your skin throughout the day. With regular use of this product, you’ll notice softer, smoother skin and fewer signs of aging over time. It’s been a real lifesaver for my dry winter skin!
Now let’s get into the list of our favorite Tatcha water cream dupe products

I originally purchased this cream as I had heard it has a similar effect as the Tatcha Water Cream. I’ve used Elizavecca hair products before and swear by them so when I saw this was on sale, I snatched it up.

Review
Its been about ~2 weeks of usage for me, so here’s my review:
My Skin: I have oily/sensitive skin and use Adapalene (a retinoid used for acne) almost daily. Adapalene is strong and does interact with many face products. I can use this during the day, well before my Adapalene application at night. If you are using a retinoid, do not use this in the hours following your application as I have gotten burn-like irritation (but I get that with most products after the Adapalene). This product has also never flared up my acne!
This is a non-greasy moisturizer that melts into water the moment it touches skin. A little goes a LONG way. Since hyaluronic acid helps trap moisture, I use this post cleanse and tone to trap water in my skin, and if needed Ill follow up with something to act as a skin barrier since mine can be compromised.
Other than immediate retinoid interaction, I have had no other interactions with other skin products. It tends to play well with lots of skin products without being heavy. A blessing for us oily-skin girls.
This product includes some incredibly strong fragrance. It reminds me of some of my mothers beauty products from the 90’s so it gives me some nostalgia, but if you are sensitive to perfume I would suggest avoiding this product, unfortunately.
No, it’s not an exact dupe, but honestly the best moisturizer I have ever tried at this price point. Looking forward to trying the rest of their face products!
2. e.l.f., SuperHydrate Moisturiser
I have crazy sensitive skin like you wouldn’t believe. Just insanely reactive to anything and everything, so finding a moisturizer that ;
1) doesn’t contain stuff that’ll make it angry, is hard
2) is going to be the texture and consistency I want is tough. Stuff like CeraVe and Cetaphil are great options for sensitive skin! But all they seem to have are creams, and I do not like that feeling on my skin at all.
Feels like sunscreen. So I really enjoy the almost-aloe vera-like consistency of this Tatcha water cream dupe. I also feel comfortable with the price point lol. There are more likable brands like Laneige I’ve tried sample sizes of that I’ve loved but would be made poor by if I bought them consistently. The only unexpected downside to this moisturizer is that it is sticky to the touch while it’s drying/settling into your skin. I didn’t like it at first, but then I realized I shouldn’t be touching my face ANYWAY and made myself get over it.
